This is a large capacity coffee or tea carafe with a unusual ability to hold temperature (even after 8-10 hours beverages are still warm). This is from Zojirushi's restaurant line and not designed for home use. It's expensive and has a funny lid intended to fit directly under a drip coffeemaker.
