The Zojirushi’s “Zutto” Collection is the first products’ collection of this company. The idea of this collection emerged as a effect of the co-operation between Zojirushi and an interior designer from Japan. In Japanese “Zutto” means “always” that is why all products in this collection were designed universally - to be used anytime and for any occasion. So, come, taste and enjoy this Zutto Drip Coffee Maker!
Zojirushi Zutto line was designed with the simplicity in mind. In this Zojirushi Drip Coffee Maker we can see the very essence of form and function – organic shapes and only the basic functions are included. But there is no problem with brewing up to 5 cups of coffee because all control buttons are explained with commonly understood symbolic icons instead of labels. This simplicity (what means usability) is also visible in the unit’s filter cone position – it is well-located inside the decanter, making it more compact and convenient to use. In addition, the coffeemaker's concealed water reservoir can be simply removed for handy filling, and its replaceable water filter lasts up to two years under normal use for clean operation.
The EC-DAC50 Zutto 5-Cup Drip Zojirushi Coffee Maker is equipped with a carafe with a big and attractive handle and a drip-free pouring spout – so the serving has never been so charming. Of course – user manual and measuring spoon are also included.
Here are some technical data of the Zojirushi EC-DAC50 Zutto 5-Cup Drip Coffee Maker
The EC-DAC50 Zutto 5-Cup Zojirushi Drip Coffee Maker has a very good reviews at Amazon what is not so easy to achieve. Here are some excerptions:
“This coffeemaker was a bit more expensive than others available, but the engineering on this thing is just unbelievable. My wife and I have been using it for about three months now, and we still marvel at how well it works, and the quality of the coffee it makes. Some of the things we really like include the fact that we can take the removable resevoir to the sink to fill it rather than try to pour water into the machine with the possibility of spilling it; the conical container for the grounds is in the coffee pot, so it is very easy to empty the grounds, and coffee doesn't drip onto the heating plate after removing the pot…”
“The Zojirushi is the BEST coffeemaker I've owned. Though it is simple and doesn't have things like auto programming and other bells and whistles: it makes a darn good cup of coffee! I've been waiting for a good cup for quite a long time.”
“I have only had the Zutto coffee maker for less than a week, but can already say that I like it a great deal. It does not have all the bells and whistles of many other coffee makers, but it does make great coffee into a glass, not un-insulated metal carafe. It does have a water level indicator, unlike the only other (as far as I know) four cup cone-type filter machine. Having the removable water tank is a great feature. Now, let me talk about some of the negatives mentioned in other reviews. Some have said that a gold-tone permanent filter will not fit. I don't know where they got that information; I have one and it fits and works beautifully. As to the coffee not being hot enough - 180 degrees is supposed to be 'optimal' for brewing; I measure 173.8 on a very good digital cooking thermometer right after brewing…”
